2 early plastics side tables, H. Batzner Bofinger 1960's
Helmut Batzner designed the first one-piece plastic chair worldwide. The revolutionary Bofinger chair is in the collection of many museums. This side table, or stool is from the same series and much harder to find. The challenge was to create a shape that would be sturdy enough. These tables are completely constructed with triangles; the most stable shape. A functional design with a unique, groovy sixties look thaat will spice up any seating area. These two have some user marks on top. The price is set accordingy. They are marked with the Bofinger label on the bottom.
