LC6 Table, Le Corbusier, Cassina 1928

The LC6 was designed in 1928 and it is still one of the most modern looking tables around. Just imagine what the reactions must have been when it was first presented at the 1929 Salon d’Automne in Paris. It was nothing less then revolutionary. A table with a glass top. Nothing is hidden in the structure.  The design of the base was inspired by aeronautical design. The height can be adjusted.  This table is numbered and marked with the Cassina logo. It is remains in an excellent condition. Only a single small scratch on the glass. Hardly visible. That's all. Almost as good as new...
