Rare table, designed by Enzo Mari for Driade. Motivated by his communist convictions, and the goal of human equality, Enzo Mari has always searched for simple and clear constructions, that would be beautiful and useful for anyone; not just the rich elite. This table is no exception. The metal joint is as simple as it is unique as a design solution.
It is sturdy and quite heavy. It comes from the first owners, who treated it with much care. It is still in a very good condition with only very light usermarks and a single, tiny chip on the edge.(see pictures).
