Teachers Desk, Friso Kramer, Ahrend De Cirkel 1950's

Designed in the 1950's by Friso Kramer as a desk for teachers. It was produced in relatively small numbers by Ahrend de Cirkel (marked on the bottom).

The dimensions are perfect for a compact workspace. As the desk only has two legs, it leaves the space in front open, which makes the room feel less closed in. It has a suspended drawer unit underneath. The formica top has two small restored dents. These desks are quite rare and often painted over. This one is completely original.
