Pepper and salt shaker set, Martine Bedin ca 1987

A rare silver plated pepper and salt shaker set, designed by Martine Bedin ca 1987. The set comes with the original package. It is still in an excellent condition, but the silver has oxidated over time. As pepper and salt can be a symbol for marriage, it kind of fits that there is a chemical reaction ivolved. We think they look beautiful and somewhat mysterious.

Martine Bedin was one of the founders of the Memphis qroup that had a huge influence on the post modern design of the 1980's
