Chair Verner Panton Herman Miller Fehlbaum 1971

In the middle of the 20th century there was a sort of competition between designers who could create a chair out of one single piece, without hind legs. Verner Panton was the first to succeed. It was a breakthrough in design history. Panton had worked on it for years. The form of the chair seems to change at every angle you look at it. Light and shadows flow over its surface. This beautiful white chair is an original from 1971. Made out of Luran S; not the contemporary plastic. The chair is in a very good vintage condition. Marked and dated underneath. An original design icon.
