Door handles are the first thing you touch when entering a space. They are like a pars pro toto for the whole building and in this case for a whole new way of architectural thinking. They were designed by Walter Gropius in 1923. Based on a square and a cylindrical section the levers became a symbol of modernism and an amalgam of the platonic geometry of modernity.
This is the rare pull bar version. After almost a century, they are still fully functional with some user marks fitting their age.
