Two octagonal art deco bowls by Alpacca hoka ca 1930's

Two octagonal art deco bowls made with hammered alpacca (nickel silver / German silver) ca 1930’s/40’s. Marked at the bottom "Alpacca Hoka".

The handles have the typical cylindrical shape designers like Marianne Brandt used at the Bauhaus. THeir shape is geometric, but more facetted, which is more in line with Czech Cubism. It creates beautiful reflections of the light
