Although we associate triangles with 1980's post modernism and anti constructivism, this eighties classic is constructivist in every way. It's triangular shape is logical, but hard to grasp. That is why it is so interesting. We can see how it fits. We can even follow the lines through the semi transparent glass. But it looks different from every view point.
In 1984 the Delta vase won the Arango International Design Contest in Miami. It is part of the collection of several museums.
To identify an original, Mart van Schijndel engraved his signature on each vase by hand. This is an original from the eighties that has never been used. The condition is mint.
