Billiard Pendant, Louis Poulsen 1960's
The Billiard lamp by Louis Poulsen often gets falsely attributed to Arne Jacobsen. It was designed by Poulsen's in house team in the 1960's. But one could argue that it wasn't really designed by anyone at all. It is a fundamental geometric shape. A cone which, seen from the side, is an equilateral triangle. Timeless, but also typical for the concrete, geometric art and design of the sixties and refering to early 20th century Bauhaus modernism.
This large version in white enamel is still in an almost perfect condition/ hardly any usermarks.
