Glatzkopf desk lamp, Ingo Maurer 1981

We love the low-tech cheekiness of this design. A heavy round foot with three tiny holes in it. Just stick the lamp in one of them to alter the height. The shade simply balances on the large bulb, of which the top sticks out. Glatzkopf means bald head in German. A stylish and playful lamp that you don't see very often.

The foot has some lacquer loss. The stick is a bit rusty. The wire has turned yellow overtime. The shade is still perfect
