A beautiful and rare "Bauhaus style" desk lamp from the 1930's. Standardised geometry which is adjustable by the user: a typical functionalist, machine age design. You can alter the height and rotate the shade. A charming detail is the original acorn shaped switch.
This lamp was produced by Hala Germany; the Hannoversche Lampenfabrik GmbH, founded in 1920.
The lamp is in a good condition for its age. The shade has some scratches, no dents. The inside of the shade may long ago have been repainted.
