Cantilever Bar Stools Mart Stam Bauhaus

Mart Stam was the inventor of the revolutionary tubular cantilever chair (at the same time as Marcel Breuer). This is the barstool version, designed around 1930 and produced by Thonet in the 1970's. The stools are extremely minimal in their design (less is more), yet they are very comfortable due to their resilient seat. The leather shows superficial user marks, which in my opinion make them look cool and rugged. The leather is very thick. Both stools are undamaged. These bar stools are hard to find.
