Rare and fabulously minimal 1970's lounge chair by Eric Sigfrid Persson for Mobelkultur AB.
Persson designed several variations of this chair. We think this is the most fundamental one. Seen from the side, it is a single curved line. The ottoman fits exactly under the seat. Not only the design is reduced to a minimum; so is the weight. The padded seat of soft, high quality leather is stretched over an aluminium frame. Super comfortable and super lightweight.
This is a rare chair. We have never seen it in this grey-blue color before. The leather has one cut on the side of the ottoman. It has been glued by the previous owner and it is stable. For the rest the chair is in an excellent vintage condition.
