Model 8000 Arm Chair, Tjerk Reijenga, Pilastro 1962

It may not be big, but the chair has got character.

Model 8000 was designed by Tjerk Reijenga in 1962. It was produced in relatively small numbers by Pilastro Zwanenburg. The chair looks confident, ready to support you with its angled hindlegs and its extra broad arm rests. The teak seat contrasts nicely with the grey lacquered steel frame. The seat is very comfortable. Underneath one of the armrests it has a small, well done restauration, not visble unless you lie down on the floor. The chair is completely original and sturdy  with normal signs of age.
