Rare armchair, Aksel Bender Madsen, Bovenkamp 1960's
One of the first designs by Aksel Bender Madsen for Bovenkamp, the company that is renowned for their high end production techniques. The chair would almost fit into a cube. It's straight and clear, yet the details are very subtle.
It is executed in solid oak with smooth teak armrests. The cushions are brand new, but the fabric is still original and in great condition. It's green colour contrasts perfectly with the red teak. This chair would be a great combination with the Wilkhahn desk we offer as it is made out of the same wood combination.
