SZ01 arm chair, Martin Visser for 't Spectrum 1960

A clear, minimal construction with much attention placed on the details, like the straight, seemless corners of the frame.

Not only was Martin Visser one of the most influential designers of the Netherlands, he was also a pioneering art collector. He had close connections to minimal artists like Carl Andre and Sol LeWitt, who, thanks to Martin Visser, had their works welded by the very same company that made the frame of this chair.

The design is uncompromising and timeless. This one is in a beautiful vintage condition with only some small darker spots on the seat (hardly visible). The wicker is completely intact
