Top-Sit chairs, Winifred Staeb, Form+Life collection, Reuter 1969

Six classic space age design chairs with a logical shape that still looks fascinating from every angle. It is the type of shape that only became possible by the development of early plastics. They are made out of a single piece of moulded polyurethane and have no hind legs. They are stackable. As their backrest is very low, they can fit underneath most tables, leaving the space open.

These chais are part of the collections of several museums. They have recently been on show in the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.

We have no less than six of them on offer. Three red and three black. All of them are in a very good original condition with superficial usermarks that come with their age. (The black ones have less than the red ones).
