The Fulfil chair by Mart van Schijndel was designed in 1989 for a contest to create a stackable chair. As with much of van Schijndel's work it is an investigation of how a two dimensional plane relates to three dimensional space.
The firm Lensvelt took it into production in 1996. It won the Aluminium Award Innovation Prize and the Architectural Review Award.
These two are in a very nice condition. They have been stacked, which caused a bit of lacquer loss on the legs
