Two Historical Mart Stam S43 tubular chairs

The chairs are revolutionary in several ways. Mart Stam was a communist. He deliberately wanted his chairs to be purely functional, without any decorations that could express status. A statement against the ruling elite. According to many, he was the first to design a tubular cantilever chair, which changed the course of design history.

Both chairs are used. The chrome has faded in several parts and each chair has a small restoration on the veneer. The price is set accordingly
