With the Nodo chair, Maur Pasquinelli was awarded with the prestigious honor Compasso d'Oro in 1979. But although the design was praised by experts, the chairs are surprisingly hard to find.
They come as a DIY assembly kit and as such, they can be shipped worldwide. The structure consists of round, wooden sticks, which all come together in a central metal joint. A unique construction which looks both stylish and dynamic.
The natural materials contrast very nicely with the black metal. Functional and aesthetically balanced. All chairs are in a good condition. Three things are to be mentioned: the veneer on one of the seets has been lovingly restored (see picture). another seat has a rough spot and last, one of the screws is a bit short, but it still fits. We used it to attach a backrest, so there is hardly any pressure on it.
This is a beautiful set that is not offered very often.
