It may not be big, but the chair has got character.
Model 8000 was designed in 1962 by Tjerk Reijenga. It was produced in relatively small numbers by Pilastro Zwanenburg. The chair looks confident, ready to support you with its angled hindlegs and its extra broad arm rests.The teak seat contrasts nicely with the grey lacquered steel frame. Underneath one of the armrests a layer of the plywood has some light damage to it (photo 6). This will only be visible when you lie down on the floor. The chair is completely original and sturdy with normal signs of age.
