An amazing pre-war, cantilever armchair. I have never seen one like it. Unlike most tubular chairs from the era, it is chromed, but zinked, which gives it a unique appearance and a wonderful contrast to the woven seat. Strangely the front tubes are wrapped in rope too. We are not sure if the ropes are original since they are in such a good condition. The seat is firm too. However, the design matches the chair perfectly, so it might be original and just scarcely used. In any case it is a special chair with a lot of character.
Some of the screws on the back have been replaced. The wooden armrests have a very nice patina.
